Jennifer Garner won’t let kids watch movie
Jennifer Garner won’t let her children watch her movie Arthur until they are 25.
The 38-year-old American actress is married to Hollywood hunk Ben Affleck, also 38, and the pair have two daughters together; Violet Anne, five, and two-year-old Seraphina Rose Elizabeth.
Jennifer is currently promoting the comedy Arthur, which is a remake of the 1981 hit starring Dudley Moore and Liza Minnelli. In the new version British funny man Russell Brand has taken on Dudley’s role, while Jennifer plays his cold-hearted, business focused fiancée Susan. The star says she’s immensely proud of the movie, and thrilled to be starring in it since she was a big fan of the original, although she doesn’t think it’s suitable for her little kids.
"I remember the old Arthur growing up," she is quoted as saying. "I don't think I'll be letting my kids watch me in this one though. Maybe when they're 25!"
Arthur tells the story of a drunken playboy who risks losing his inheritance when he falls in love with a woman his family don’t approve of. The film also stars Greta Gerwig and Dame Helen Mirren.
Russell has revealed working in New York alongside Helen and Jennifer was a joy, although at times they got in the way of residents.
“It was tremendous fun. It’s a beautiful city to make a film in. Some people are excited by it, some people consider you an inconvenience in their pathway. I like that,” he previously said.
