Album Review

This is a very decent collection of the recordings of the great gospel diva Clara Ward. In addition to great tracks like "On That Great Judgment Morning," "Higher Ground," and "Out on a Hill," there is a bonus disc included with two bonus tracks: extended performances of "Don't Drive Your Mama Away" and "Battlefield" -- clocking in at over ten minutes each -- and a video biography on the life of the great singer. For the money, this is one of those sets that cannot be beat.
